The Georgian delegation led by commander of the Georgian Defense Forces Major General Giorgi Matiashvili, which is paying an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited military units of special forces and naval forces of the Azerbaijani army, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported.

The delegation was provided with detailed information on the process of training of special forces and gave answers to questions of the guests. Then the Georgian delegation arrived at a military unit of the navy and familiarized themselves with the conditions created in the military unit for personnel, they were told about the history and activities of the military unit. Then the guests watched demonstration training of Marine Special Forces. The guests were shown modern weapons, combat and transport vehicles used by Marines and Special Forces.
