The title of the wealthiest person in the world belongs to Tesla CEO Elon Musk again, according to Bloomberg.
He reclaimed the status on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, having a fortune valued at an estimated $187.1 billion, the outlet reported.
French luxury giant LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault previously supplanted Musk from the No. 1 position in mid-December and had held it since then. Bloomberg pegged Arnault’s net worth at $185.3 billion on Monday.
The January growth of the shares of Tesla, of which Musk himself is also a shareholder, enabled him to return to the aforesaid top spot.
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is in third place, as his fortune is estimated at $117 billion.
