The death toll in the earthquakes that hit in Turkey at the beginning of February has exceeded 45 thousand, Hurriyet daily informed on Wednesday morning.
"According to the latest information, 45,089 people died in Kahramanmaras, Gaziantep, Sanliurfa, Diyarbakir, Adana, Adiyaman, Osmaniye, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya, and Elazig Provinces," the newspaper reported, citing the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) of Turkey.
