Azerbaijani MP Ramin Mammadov has been appointed the head of relations with Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijani media report.

According to Azerbaijani sources, Mammadov on Wednesday met with the "representatives of Armenian residents" of Nagorno-Karabakh at the headquarters of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Karabakh.

"Masim Mammadov, head of the group on illegal exploitation of natural resources, took part in the meeting. The group includes the experts from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the State Service on Property Issues of the Ministry of Economy, and AzerGold CJSC [of Azerbaijan].

The meeting discussed the reintegration of Armenian residents of the Karabakh region into the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with the Constitution and laws of Azerbaijan. Contacts with the Armenian residents living in the Karabakh region of the Republic of Azerbaijan continue," the Azerbaijani media wrote.
