UK Defense Secretary Ben Wallace announced that a ship was detained in the Gulf of Oman in February on suspicion of smuggling Iranian weapons, Sky News reported.

The ship was detected in the south of Iran by a US reconnaissance plane and drone.

After that, it tried to enter the territorial waters of Iran, but it was stopped by the Royal Marines of the UK navy, and they boarded the ship.

Parts of medium-range ballistic missiles were found on the ship.
