Defense Minister Mohammad Reza Gharaei Ashtiani on Monday promised to present "new achievements" in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) manufacture of Iran.

"We have new achievements in the field of UAV production, which will be announced in the near future," Tasnim quotes Ashtiani as saying.

Iran has been developing weapons in recent years. In particular, the new generation Iranian Mersad 16 multi-purpose anti-aircraft missile complex was tested.

Also, Ministry of Defense of Iran also announced that the new Paveh cruise missile has appeared in its arsenal, and its flight range reaches 1,650 kilometers.
