Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi, discussed the development of Russian-Iranian relations and the implementation of joint infrastructure projects, the Kremlin press service reported on Monday.

"Both sides positively assessed the level and dynamics of the development of Russian-Iranian relations. Matters of bilateral cooperation in various domains, including the implementation of joint infrastructure projects, were discussed," added the respective press release.

Also, the two leaders agreed to maintain further contacts.
