YEREVAN. - An independent state is a great achievement in itself, a precondition for self-actualization and realization of the desires of every nation, the Vice Speaker of Armenian Parliament Samvel Balasanyan told Armenian News - NEWS.am.

"Achievements of independent Armenia are not that small - the National Army, the intensification of the international process of Armenian Genocide recognition, after all, the right to control our own destiny," Balasanyan said.

Speaking of the errors, Vice Speaker of the Parliament mentioned lost time.

"Every minute that was not spent on trying to make the state stronger and more prosperous is lost," he added.
