Prime Minister Mark Rutte made several statements, on Tuesday in the Dutch Parliament, regarding the reopening of the Lachin corridor, informed the Federation of Armenian Organisations in The Netherlands.

In particular, Rutte noted that Azerbaijan interprets the decision of the International Court of Justice very narrowly, whereas the Dutch government does not perceive the aforesaid verdict in that way, and the ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Netherlands was clearly informed about it.

Also, Mark Rutte assured that the Dutch side continues to take active steps—in the bilateral and European Union context—towards the reopening of the Lachin corridor as soon as possible.
