AKHALTSIKHE. – Within the framework of the “Equal Opportunities For All” Program, 12 teachers and principals from the schools of Georgia’s southeastern Samtskhe-Javakheti province improved their skills at the Copernicus Center in Poland, Georgian Akhaltsikhe city’s news website informed.
Poland is a partner country of this Program. Returning after the Program, the teachers and principals were able to apply new teaching methods and convey them to their approximately 200 colleagues. Presentation ceremony of this year’s Program took place at the new building of Akhaltsikhe State University. The Program strives for teaching with more comprehensible and modern means, and also raising schoolchildren’s interest toward exact subjects.
The Program’s duration is 1 year.Javakhk (Georgian name: Javakheti) is an Armenian-populated part of Georgia’s southeastern Samtskhe-Javakheti province.
