French President Emmanuel Macron signed the pension reform bill into law. The document was published on Saturday in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
The French Constitutional Council on Friday considered the pension reform partially legal and approved the Article increasing the minimum retirement age from 62 to 64.
The proposed reform was met with public discontent.
