YEREVAN. – We gathered at the Liberty Square not for inflaming passion or inspiring each other but to do a serious business, opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan stated at ANC round-day rallies.

“We again raise our voice after our strong demonstrations 4 years ago. We all should realize that we do business here.

I really want to help police. They started to use an innovation, which lacked in 2008. They were politer at that time. It is harder to say something in a small microphone, so I help them. I warn police that the organizers will carry the responsibility. I am well aware of what it is. I passed through it in 1988 when I was taken to Moscow, being called an irreparable criminal. I disagree that this is an illegal action, but they claim the contrary. Let it be so, the courts are on their side let me charge. I will pay the fine,” Ter-Petrosyan stated.

He also asked police to stop the warning as he takes the rally responsibility on him.
