The Canadian Foreign Ministry has published a list of 24 individuals who, according to the ministry, “work at museums and other cultural centres who collaborate with Russia” and contribute to the theft and destruction of Ukrainian cultural objects.
The list also included ex-president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and his son Oleksandr, as well as blogger Yuri Podolyaka, former First Deputy Minister of Information of Donetsk Daniil Bezsonov, Minister of Culture of the Kherson region Oleksandr Kuzmenko.
According to Canadian Foreign Ministry, it also imposes sanctions against “newly created entities [17] in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, such as the so-called ministries of education and culture, as well as individuals and entities related to private military companies that originated in Ukraine and are fighting for Russia.”
