Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in Baku on a state visit at the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, AZERTAG reports.

At Heydar Aliyev International Airport, where the two countries' national flags were waving, Erdoğan was met by a guard of honor. The Turkish president and his wife, Emine, were met at the airport by First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyubov, Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov, and other officials.
