Donald Trump collected more than $2 million after his recent trial; he is charged with not keeping secret documents properly, CNN reported.

After the aforesaid trial, the former US president collected $2.04 million in donations at an event in the US state of New Jersey, CNN informed, citing its sources.

Trump on Wednesday attended the session of a federal court in Miami, which brought to him a 37-count charge for improperly storing confidential documents and for obstructing justice.

Trump pleaded not guilty.

On the same day in the evening, he got together with supporters in New Jersey.

Millions of dollars donated to Trump's presidential re-election campaign fund were also reported when he was indicted in New York; in the first day, the former US president had collected more than $4 million, and in two weeks—$15.4 million.

In New York, Trump was indicted on 34 counts of falsification of business documents related to paying hush money to two women, including porn star Stormy Daniels. Trump denies these accusations.
