Swiss Ambassador Jean-Daniel Ruch was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Turkey on Thursday because of the protest against Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Zurich, a source at the Turkish MFA informed TASS.

"After receiving information that an incident against our president took place in Zurich on June 14, with the burning of a replica and display of a poster, the Swiss ambassador to Ankara, Jean-Daniel Ruch, was invited to our ministry today, on the morning of June 15. Ruch was told that this attack against our president is unacceptable, and such an attack should not be allowed," the Turkish MFA statement said.

Also, the MFA demanded to "start the investigation of the incident, find out the culprits, and take the necessary measures."
