Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: Yesterday, after the advance of the Azerbaijanis on the Armenia side of the Hakari bridge, the Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] Information Center reported that the Azerbaijanis prohibited the transfer of humanitarian goods to Artsakh. It was written in the Azerbaijani press that the Armenian side shot at their border guards at the Lachin checkpoint, so they closed the checkpoint for all kinds of humanitarian transportation until the incident is clearly and fully investigated and the Armenian side reveals the culprit. Although the [Azerbaijani] flag was removed hours later, the cargo was not allowed to enter.

Our sources in Artsakh see a direct connection between these two incidents and have a suspicion that the Armenian authorities deliberately provoked, aggravated the situation, and as a result, the Azerbaijanis made such a decision in order to legitimize, after some time, the decision to hand over Artsakh to Azerbaijan.

The people of Artsakh consider it strange that [Armenia’s PM] Nikol Pashinyan, who publicly announced that he will not declare war for 30 percent of Sev lake, ordered the army to wage fight for 10-20 meters, and as a result, the Azerbaijanis closed the checkpoint.

Yesterday there was also information that a heated shootout took place, the Azerbaijani side used artillery.
