YEREVAN. – Romania assisted Armenia in the implementation of Individual Partnership Action Plan with NATO (IPAP), Romanian Ambassador to Armenia Crina Prunariu said at a press conference on Tuesday.
The Ambassador stressed that Romania assisted the establishment of Armenia’s military doctrine. Armenian and Romanian MODs were in a good relations and the Romanian side assisted also in reforming budget on defense.
“We also offered trainings for servicemen at the educational institutions in Romania,” the Ambassador added.
Within the IPAP, a program of cooperation between Armenia and NATO, several stages of the reforms have already been implemented in the field of defense. The program was signed in December, 2005.
