Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: After the [Azerbaijani] ban on carrying humanitarian cargo through [the] Lachin [corridor], Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] is in a crisis situation: a shortage of essential goods. After hearing the news of the ban on humanitarian cargo, [the] people [of Artsakh] can be said to have wiped out the stores.

Our sources assure us that the reserve goods will last for two months at the most, but if an exact state policy is implemented, there may be no problem for half a year.

The thing is that some businessmen, taking advantage of the closure of the Lachin corridor [by Azerbaijan] and [the latter’s] bans on passenger transport, have imported into Artsakh not basic necessities, but profitable products from a business point of view; for example: Coca-Cola, alcoholic beverages, etc. The problem of diesel fuel is particularly acute; we were told that due to this problem, it has already become a problem to deliver the bread from the bakeries to the stores.
