Azerbaijani military forces installed a concrete barrier to block the road of life (for 120,000 people including 30,000 children) connecting Nagorno Karabakh with Armenia (Lachin Corridor). Ambassador-at-Large Edmon Marukyan wrote on his Twitter page.

“Fresh provocation from Azerbaijan. Yesterday, Azerbaijani military forces installed a concrete barrier to block the road of life (for 120,000 people including 30,000 children) connecting Nagorno Karabakh with Armenia (Lachin Corridor).

This was done amid the decision of The Hague Court and in addition to the establishment of an illegal checkpoint and arrival of armored vehicles. The ethnic cleansing policy of Azerbaijan is a daily process and these gross violations of human rights continue.”

Yesterday, June 22, Azerbaijan engaged in another provocation and criminal action, blocking with a concrete barrier the only road between Artsakh and Armenia (Lachin corridor).
