US Secretary of State Antony Blinken called South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin to discuss the outcome of his visit to China, the South Korean Foreign Ministry said.
According to Reuters, Blinken said he had an honest and constructive dialogue with the Chinese side.
Blinken and South Korean Foreign Minister called on Beijing to play a constructive role in stopping provocations and denuclearization of North Korea.
North Korea, in turn, criticized Blinken for trying to force China to put pressure on Pyongyang and warned of a tough response.
