Foreign Minister of Belgium Hadja Lahbib will represent Belgium at a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the EU member states scheduled for Monday in Luxembourg, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander de Croo said at a meeting of the country's Security Council, 7SUR7 reports.
The meeting participants will discuss the latest developments in Russia, he said.
“It is important that our country is represented at this meeting, where the European position should be determined. We cannot afford to pursue an empty chair policy,” the PM said.
On June 23, statements appeared on the Telegram channel of the PMC Wagner that an air attack had been carried out on the PMC. The blame was placed on the Russian military leadership.
