Iran and Russia are strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of protection of important state facilities, the fight against terrorism and security measures, said Iranian police commander, Brigadier General Ahmadreza Radan, commenting on his visit to Moscow, Mehr reports.

Radan said that according to the Memorandum of Understanding, signed between Iran and Russia during his visit to Moscow, the Iranian police and the Russian National Guard troops will strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of combating terrorism.

He added that Iran has gained valuable experience in the fight against drug trafficking.
