Mali's military leader Assimi Goïta appointed Amadou Keita the Mines Minister in accordance with the presidential decree during the government reshuffle, Bloomberg writes.
Keita will replace Alousseni Sanou, who is currently the Minister of Finance, in this position.
Mali is one of Africa's largest gold producers.
