The judicial farce against abducted Armenian servicemen Harutyun Hovakimyan and Karen Ghazaryan has started in Azerbaijan.

The trial is being held at the “Sumgayit Court of Serious Crimes, presided over by judge Fahmin Khumbatov,” APA reports.

It is noted that they "were provided with an interpreter and a lawyer at the expense of the [Azerbaijani] state."

These Armenian servicemen are accused of "violating the state border of Azerbaijan and committing serious crimes."

To note, however, these soldiers were kidnapped by an Azerbaijani sabotage team that invaded the territory of Armenia in May.
