In recent days, various news outlets have been circulating news that Armenia’s authorities have stopped, at all levels, their contacts with their colleagues in Nagorno-Karabakh (NK). Moreover, it is noted that the humanitarian crisis created as a result of the blocking of the Lachin corridor is not on the agenda of Armenia’s government. Armenian prime minister's spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan noted this on Facebook.

"In terms of this claim that has no basis in reality, we consider it important to emphasize that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has repeatedly noted his intense daily contacts with [Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President] Arayik Harutyunyan. The President of NK also has reaffirmed this circumstance in public speeches and in various formats,” Baghdasaryan noted. 

"We would like to recall once again that back at the end of 2022, in order to manage the humanitarian crisis and assist the people of Nagorno-Karabakh due to the blocking of the Lachin corridor [by Azerbaijan], a working group was formed under the leadership of [Armenia’s] Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan, whose task is to monitor humanitarian issues with the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh and provide the necessary urgent assistance, including with the help of international organizations,” the Armenian PM's spokesperson added, in particular.
