In the last six months, the domestic life in Artsakh has gone through quite a lot of turning events, and the people of Artsakh are going through a rather difficult period. Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Minister of State Gurgen Nersisyan told Alpha News this.

Nersisyan assures that the Azerbaijani criminal actions could not break the Artsakh citizens. They continuously and persistently stuck to their land, even though they were living off of humanitarian shipments and barely able to provide for their basic necessities of life.

"For months, the people of Artsakh lived on the account of the humanitarian cargo transportation being carried out by the International Committee of the Red Cross and the humanitarian cargo transportation being carried out by the Russian peacekeepers. This was not enough for the Azerbaijani side, and from June 15 they completely stopped humanitarian cargo transportation being carried to Artsakh. During this entire time, the people of Artsakh had even realized and predicted that this was not the last disaster that awaited them. We knew that more difficult situations were waiting for us. That's why, in the last few months, the people of Artsakh got busy with the work to be able to withstand the even more pressing challenges that Azerbaijan was preparing for the heroic people of Artsakh," said the latter’s minister of state.

According to him, the people of Artsakh know what they are fighting for today.

"It is our identity, our dignity, the duty to stick to our land, and most importantly, the feeling of being worthy of the memory of thousands of our brothers and sisters who sacrificed their lives for the right to live in Artsakh today. Although there are many difficulties, the people of Artsakh do not like to talk about them," he said.

At the same time, the minister of state emphasized that in this situation, it is not so right to leave everything up to the people of Artsakh because the latter does not belong only to the people of Artsakh, but to all Armenians.
