As of now, there is information that Russian-owned organizations are instructed to deal very seriously with the situation created as a result of the complete Azerbaijani blockade in Artsakh. This was announced by Tigran Petrosyan, Chairman of the Anti-Crisis Council adjunct to the President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), at the meeting with the participants of the protest being held outside the president's residence, who are concerned about the situation, referring to the reaction of the Russian side to the Artsakh president’s letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the situation in Artsakh.

"We have to wait until the end of this week, about 4-5 days. The command of the [Russian] peacekeeping contingent [in Artsakh] is also informed in writing that there is a shortage of food supplies in Artsakh. Our demand is to [re]open the [Lachin corridor] road in a short period of time; we are waiting. And if Russia does not take active steps during that time, this will be its attitude towards us. I should add that we have various proposals, but it is not right to talk about it for now, as we are waiting for Russia's moves," added Petrosyan.

According to him, if the Russian side does not take active steps, the Artsakh authorities will present their proposals to the people, with positive and negative aspects.

"It is very possible that the decision will be made through a referendum because such decisions cannot be adopted differently," added Tigran Petrosyan.
