The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group bear their share of accountability regarding the blockade of Artsakh by Azerbaijan. Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) foreign minister Sergey Ghazaryan stated this during the Yerevan-Stepanakert videoconference Thursday.

Answering the question about the recent statements by the US ambassador to Armenia, who expressed hope that it will be possible to ensure the rights of the people of Artsakh in Azerbaijan, the Artsakh FM recalled that his ministry gave a detailed response to the US ambassador in a statement.

"Which steps of Azerbaijan have given reason to believe [that it will be possible to ensure the rights of the people of Artsakh in Azerbaijan]? The exact opposite is happening. And if anyone has hopes, they should be dashed in the context of the events that have taken place in recent months. We expect more active participation from the Co-Chairs of the [OSCE] Minsk Group, rather than calls and statements. They bear their share of accountability for this situation, and it is about preventing [Armenian] ethnic cleansing [by Azerbaijan in Artsakh]," the Artsakh FM said.
