YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will give an official dinner on the occasion of his counterpart Nikolas Sarkozy’s official visit to Armenia on Thursday evening.

French President arrived on official visit to Armenia on Thursday. After the official welcoming ceremony, the two Presidents went to Holy See Echmiadzin to meet Armenian Catholicos Karekin II.

Sarkozy is accompanied by famous French-Armenians-former Minister Patrick Devedjian, singer Helene Segara and football player Youri Djorkaeff. Singer Charles Aznavour will arrive in Armenia on Friday.

After the meeting with Catholicos, the Presidents went to Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. They put a wreath to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, and then entered the museum. France does not forget, Sarkozy wrote in the memorial book of the museum. The Presidents also planted a tree in the Memory Ally.
