The UK Defense Department was forced to take "contingency measures" after a serious wage dispute involved a secret Defense Ministry missile site that supplies Ukraine with much-needed weapons, Mirror reports.
On July 14, over 50 essential employees of the Defence Equipment and Support depot in Beith [Scotland] went on strike, with another to start on Monday.
The depot supplies Storm Shadow and Brimstone missiles to Ukrainian troops in their battle against Russian forces.
But workers are paid just a little above the living wage.
If the strike over wages continues for too long, it could affect supplies of Storm Shadow and Brimstone missiles, although "contingency measures" were taken to prevent a reduction in the supply of weapons to Ukraine, defense officials say.
