YEREVAN. – Lithuania’s Acme Computer Components (ACC), which is a leading IT distributer among Baltic states, is entering Armenian market, Lithuanian Ambassador to Armenia Giedrius Apuokas stated during a press conference on Friday. 

In his words, even though Lithuania was the first to recognize Armenia’s independence and political relations between both countries are on a high level, this is Lithuania’s first investment in Armenia.  

ACC entered Armenia’s market through purchasing the country’s Maxtronic company. ACC also has a stand at DigiTec Information and Telecommunication Technologies Expo 2011, which is being held from Friday to Sunday at Armenian capital Yerevan’s Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex.

In his turn, ACC’s CEO Regimantas Buozius informed that they represent approximately 650 products and 200 suppliers, primarily well-known European brands such as ASUS, DELL, LG, BenQ, Sony, Philips, D-Link, etc.

According to Buozius, study of Armenia’s market has revealed that it has a great potential for growth. He also informed that they will solely conduct wholesale in Armenia, and mainly through the Internet.
