The US has returned to India 105 antiquities illegally exported from India, the oldest of which dates back to the 2nd century, said Ambassador of India to the United States Taranjit Singh Sandhu.

“105 Indian antiques are coming home. I was happy to attend the ceremony held in New York, which was dedicated to the restoration of Indian artifacts, after the visit of [Indian] Prime Minister Narendra Modi," said the ambassador of India to the US.

Sandhu added that the US and India are working towards the preparation of an agreement on cultural heritage.
