We are confident that sane politicians in Armenia and Azerbaijan take a responsible approach to the position promoted by the Russian Federation, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergei Ryabkov said.
In his opinion, Moscow's efforts will bring results and a settlement will be reached. He assured that Russia, unlike the West, is looking for only a stable formula for a settlement.
The official would not want anyone to see an element of geopolitical rivalry with the West in Moscow's proposals.
He expressed readiness to help the parties find the point where interests converge and where the result was denounced in the form of an agreement of a binding nature.
"Russia will continue to do everything possible to minimize the humanitarian consequences of any crisis,” the diplomat said.
At the same time, Ryabkov added that the possibilities are not unlimited.
