By and large, the Russian peacekeeping mission in Nagorno Karabakh is in doubt, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a press conference.

“Because when we say a humanitarian crisis, when we say that there is a risk of mass casualties, it is a big problem for Russia, first of all in terms of the credibility and feasibility of its mission," he said, adding that it is a matter of reputation for Russia.

Further the Armenian PM said that Armenia can say that Russian should do this, the USA should do that, the EU and Azerbaijan should do another thing, but it should also be said what the leadership of Nagorno Karabakհ should do. “Do the Nagorno-Karabakh authorities have anything to do to overcome this crisis?,” Pashinyan asked.

"It [Nagorno Karabakh] can be declared a disaster zone, but I think in all cases, due to being in power, they have something to do and we are ready to support them in doing it. Yes, we expect that these countries will solve some problems in Nagorno Karabakh, but these countries cannot solve their own problems," he explained.

Nikol Pashinyan emphasized that he is in contact with the president of Artsakh on a daily basis.
