The position of the Armenian side regarding the need to address the issues of the rights and security of the people of [Artsakh] Nagorno-Karabakh in the context of achieving long-term peace in the region has not changed, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated in response to the comment received from the media that Yerevan continues to insist on an international mechanism for the Baku-Stepanakert dialogue.

“We have repeatedly stressed that these issues should be addressed within the framework of the Baku-Stepanakert dialogue, and the effectiveness of this dialogue can only be ensured through international participation and an effective mechanism,” he noted.
