TEHRAN. – Iranian actress Marzieh Vafamehr is sentenced for one year of imprisonment and 90 blows of robs, the Telegraph reports.
The actress was arrested in July after the film release, where she played the lead role.
“My Tehran for Sale” movie tells about a young actress in Tehran, who is forbidden to play in the theatre. However, the girl continues to run an actress career secretly.
