YEREVAN.- No need to dramatize by making allegations on possible recurrence of the global crisis, said Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan speaking at forum on rural communities held in Armenia’s Jermuk on Monday.
In his speech, Country Manager of the World Bank Armenia Jean-Michel Happi said unstable situation in the European zone remains one of the risks for Armenia’s economy.
“For manufacturers agricultural risks can be aggravated by fluctuations in food prices,” he said.
Responding to the remarks of Happi, President Sargsyan stressed it is too early to speak about the second wave of crisis.
“It is too early to say that the difficulties in the European markets have moved into the second stage of the crisis. Not all the international experts share the opinion as well. There are certain difficulties, but we got used to work in times of crisis and are ready to face the challenges,” said President.
