In its final Group B match in Euro 2012 qualifiers, Armenia’s national team will play an away game in Dublin, on Tuesday at 10:45 p.m., Yerevan time, against Ireland, our national team’s main opponent in the group.

And after the Armenian squad’s last brilliant victory, this game is now at the center of virtually all residents of Armenia, specifically since in case of a win, Armenia could qualify for Euro 2012. 

International and local betting offices are likewise very much interested in this match, and they expect huge bets. But almost all of them predict an Irish victory.

William Hill, one of the world’s largest betting offices, has set the following odds for the match result: 1.67 for Ireland’s victory, 3.60 for a draw, and 5.50 for Armenia’s victory. 

Armenian bookmaking offices also have set similar odds, but they believe in Armenia’s victory a little bit more.

The Irish national team, with head coach Giovanni Trapattoni, will face Armenia, under head coach Vardan Minasyan, at Dublin’s 51-thousand-capacity Aviva Stadium, which is one of the world’s most modern sports grounds.

The Armenian national squad needs nothing but a victory against Ireland to clinch 2nd place in Group B and go to playoffs to qualify for Euro 2012.
