Forward of the Irish squad Simon Cox said he doubted that Armenia’s keeper Roman Berezovsky touched the ball by his arm.

Spanish referee Eduardo Iturralde Gonzalez red-carded Berezovsky during the Euro 2012 qualifier when the keeper stepped out of the penalty area.

“It just came over my shoulder and I tried to control it. Some you get, some you don’t, but I don’t think it was a handball by the keeper,” The Telegraph quotes Cox.

Cox said the ball brushed his arm before Berezovsky touched it.
