YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan commented on the Armenian national football match with Ireland in Dublin when distributing awards on education sphere.

“Armenian football players showed a good, professional play,” the President stated and did not dwell on the reasons of defeat.

No matter how the match ended, all Armenians united were the fan of the team. 

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, Armenian team did not win the Irish team and will not participate in Euro 2012 play-offs. Ireland won 2:1 and occupies the second position in Group B.
