The representatives of the Azerbaijani ombudsperson visited Armenian detainee Gagik Voskanyan, the Azerbaijani media report.

They visited Voskanyan to get information about the way he is being treated and his access to treatment while being detained, and some other important matters.

It is reported that Vskanyan allegedly expressed satisfaction with the conditions of his custody.

On August 16, Gagik Voskanyan, an Armenian reserve soldier and a participant in the military training camp, had left his combat position. Later, the Azerbaijani side announced that they had captured him.

On August 18, the Azerbaijani court had Voskanyan illegally arrested. Azerbaijan, in its traditional style, concocted criminal cases against Gagik Voskanyan, as well as other Armenian detainees, under several articles of its criminal code.
