YEREVAN. – The Armenian World magazine presentation took place in Yerevan on Wednesday. Armenia’s PM Tigran Sargsyan also participated in the presentation.

The PM thanked the authors and founders of the magazine for spreading the idea of the Armenian world, the government’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“The Armenian world is real. If 20 years ago we were concerned only about Armenia’s inner life, nowadays we have to deal with the Armenian World every day. We must discover the Armenian world’s potential and use it for the benefit of the Armenian nation and the republic,” said Sargsyan.

The PM stressed that today most Armenians live outside of the country.

“95 percent of the Diaspora has never been to Armenia. But they feel connected to Armenia on their own unique way. We must be able to promote the Armenia and distribute it worldwide,” the PM said and added that such programs will open new opportunities for the Armenians.

Tigran Sargsyan awarded Shant TV stations founder and leader Artur Erznkyan with the medal.

The purpose of the Armenian World magazine is to show the achievements of the Armenians worldwide.
