Azerbaijani border guards at the Azerbaijani checkpoint illegally installed in the Lachin corridor have seized a valuable handmade backgammon set from one of the persons coming from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) to Armenia escorted by the Red Cross. This was reported by the Инфотека24 (Infoteka24) Telegram channel, citing the chairman of the Artsakh Public Council, Armen Gevorgyan.

This backgammon set is valued at around $5,000-$6,000.

The inscription "Artsakh" and the famous Artsakh monument "We Are Our Mountains" (Grandma and Grandpa) are engraved on this backgammon set.

In addition, the coat of arms of Artsakh is depicted inside this backgammon set. And it is assumed that this was the reason for the confiscation of this valuable backgammon set by Azerbaijanis.
