At the moment, there is a tense situation in front of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) National Assembly (NA), Arshak Abrahamyan, a founding member of the public movement Artsakh Security Development Front, reports on Facebook.
Also, Abrahamyan posted an attached video from the Renaissance Square of the capital Stepanakert, in which it can be seen that the police have formed a wall in several rows at the entrance of the NA building.
A special meeting is being held in the Artsakh NA, with the participation of Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan, regarding the events taking place in Artsakh. Numerous people of Artsakh have assembled at the Renaissance Square and are waiting to see what will be decided after the meeting.
A protest was staged also outside the Russian embassy in Armenia. In support of Artsakh, the demonstrators are raising their voice of protest in front of the embassy and, also, they have decided to spend the night there.
Azerbaijanis on Monday abducted three young Artsakh residents from the checkpoint illegally set up by Azerbaijanis in the Lachin corridor. It is also known that these young men were detained by using brute force.
