Azerbaijani media report about sending of "humanitarian aid" to Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

The Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society "is sending humanitarian aid to ethnic Armenians living in Karabakh," Haqqin.az reported.

Chairman of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society, MP Novruz Aslan said that two such vehicles were sent from Azerbaijani capital Baku. According to him, this convoy with "humanitarian goods" will move along the road passing through Akna (Aghdam) city.

"At the initial phase, it is planned to deliver 40 tons of flour products. Of course, accessories, tents, and technical means for the activities of our employees will also be provided. We will carefully follow the processes taking place there. I believe that this step will be positively accepted by the public, the international community, and the ethnic Armenian population living in Khankendi [i.e., Artsakh capital Stepanakert]," said Aslan.

He added that "if necessary, [humanitarian] aid can be sent again."

In the meantime, Azerbaijan remains deaf to the calls to unblock the Lachin corridor.
