The matter of the three students abducted from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) by Azerbaijan is in the center of the attention of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
Speaking with reporters, Zara Amatuni, Communication and Prevention Program Manager of the ICRC Armenia office, was asked whether representatives of the ICRC Baku delegation visited the aforementioned persons.
"We can talk about it later, but the issue is naturally in the center of attention," Amatuni said.
Three university students from Artsakh were abducted from the checkpoint illegally installed by Azerbaijan in the Lachin corridor. They were transferred to Azerbaijani capital Baku, where they were tried on charges of disrespecting the Azerbaijani flag and were sentenced to 10-day detention and later—deportation from the territory of Azerbaijan.
