Annalena Baerbock, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany, announced that the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh was put on the agenda of the meeting of the European Union's (EU) foreign ministers, which takes place Thursday in Spain, TASS reports.

She noted that the Lachin corridor "must be free for humanitarian aid."

Baerbock called the situation of people in this region catastrophic, and stressed that there is only a limited amount of electricity available there.

"Therefore, we appeal to Azerbaijan and Russia with an urgent call. The people of Nagorno-Karabakh should get what they need to live. The Lachin corridor should be free for humanitarian aid," she said.

According to Annalena Baerbock, EU FMs will discuss this matter on Thursday.
