In accordance with all international norms, the well-founded independence of Artsakh is currently facing an incredibly severe challenge. It’s been eight months since Artsakh, which has been under blockade and endured numerous hardships, has been resisting valiantly, well aware that the struggle for independence today, just like 32 years ago, has the same objective. The aggressor and enemy, who has resorted to genocidal policies in the past and is once again prepared for such actions, remains the same as it was three decades ago, says the message of the third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of the Proclamation of Artsakh Republic.

“The way out of this extremely difficult, but not hopeless situation, as I have repeatedly stated, first of all lies in the elimination of anti-national authorities and worthy defense of the Homeland by the joint efforts of the Armenian people, while simultaneously doing the proper work on the diplomatic front.

On the path of the struggle for independence, the indifference, disappointment, conformism, and weakness of character cannot be comrades. Determination, courage, will, and dignity - these are true comrades in the struggle, on whom one must rely,” the message further reads.
