Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis will visit Ankara on Tuesday to meet with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, Kathimerini reports.
The aim of the meeting is to set the agenda for talks between Turkish President Erdoğan and Greek PM Mitsotakis at the annual UNGA session in New York [September 18-20] and assist in addressing ‘thorny’ bilateral issues.
According to Kathimerini, Greece seeks a collaborative request to the International Court for settling their continental shelf and maritime jurisdiction boundaries, but it's evident that this procedure won't be accelerated, with other matters like maritime and airspace disputes requiring prior resolution.
